Niamh Burke PhD, BSc, MCIEEM, CEnv, Dip Planning & Env Law
Director / Lead Ecologist
Dr Niamh Burke is a senior scientist and chartered environmentalist with over 15 years’ academic research and consulting experience in aquatic and terrestrial ecology and fluvial geomorphology. With a specialism in aquatic habitats, she also has experience of terrestrial species’ surveys and mitigation, and has authored numerous EIAR, EcIA and AA / NIS reports.
Niamh delivers training in Biodiversity and Hydromorphology for a range of clients in private and public sectors.

Philip Howard MEI, BSc (Hons) Environmental Studies, Registered Energy Auditor, Domestic and Non-domestic BER Assessor
Director / Energy Consultant
After a thriving career in a number of different businesses in Ireland, the UK and France, Philip Howard joined Coisceim Consulting in 2021.
Phil has a wealth of experience in business management, construction, energy efficiency and environmental auditing.
His experience includes Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental management and auditing; Operations Management, Construction Management, Energy Efficient Design and Retrofit Consultation.
Phil is a Registered Energy Auditor, Domestic and Non-Domestic BER Assessor and holds a BSc in Environmental Studies. He is a Member of the Energy Institute and The BER assessors Association of Ireland.

Aoife Hillman-Allen BSc (Hons) Environmental Science with Ecology
Ecologist
Aoife Hillman-Allen began working for Coiscéim Consulting in 2023 as an undergraduate and is now a full-time employee.
Aoife graduated top of her class and recieved an Environmental Sciences of Ireland Association Undergraduate of the Year Award (2023/2024) for her research dissertation.
With knowledge of terrestrial and aquatic ecology, environmental legislation, natural resource management and conservation, Aoife authors and contributes to a variety of ecological projects including site surveys and EIAR, EcIA and AA / NIS reports.
